Jenny from MSQC does one called the Zig Zag table runner with charm packs that you might be able to adapt. Hopefully someone recognizes the picture and can give you the pattern name.

Here you go. It's called Accent Your Focus Table Runner.

This board never ceases to amaze me. It's wonderful to have such a wealth of knowledge in one place.

If someone finds this in a free version would you please share with us. I really like this & it looks easy enough but, I need the instructions to make. I'm not a good DIY'er. I also, can't see paying $8.00 for the pattern. But, that's just me.

That is beautiful and it would showcase a fabric I have. I will watch and hope that someone can find something like it that is free, or at least less than $8.00.

From what I can see there are lots of partial seams in there.

    Lightbulb Table runner design

It looks like a log cabin around the focus fabric, perhaps courthouse steps? I'd use a 6" or 8" square and add 2" strips around. I'd make 4 of these and cut one into 1/4's to create the small insets. Actually, there are 4 patches used to connect the 3 major 'squares' so this would need to be accounted for on two sides of each of the major squares. I don't have the photo of the pattern up as I write this so I hope this provides enough info to go on. Might be an experiment but hopefully it'll work!
