I found a pattern a couple of weeks ago that was done in stone looking fabric with about 4 or 5 values of the same basic color. It was squares in squares then cut on the diagonal and sewn back together with one side inverted colors from the other. Lights and darks. It made it look like carved tiles. There were three different size blocks but all were made the same way. I've been unable to find it since and I'd really like to order it. It is a very geometric pattern along the same lines as some of the Bella mosaic quilts but I've looked there and can't find it.

That's fairly close but no, that's not it. If I knew how to post pictures I would put one on of it. I printed out the picture but then I cut it off the page and put it in my "inspiration" book.

Okay, how is your picture stored on your computer?

It's not. I just printed a hard copy of the picture and then put it in my book. I've spent hours upon hours going back through my history trying to locate it again. The block have such a contrast that they look like they are "pyramid-ed" up or down in the middle. It's an optical illusion. I don't know how to explain it other than the blocks look like they're chiseled out of stone.

Do you have the ability to scan the picture so we can see it?

How do I get to the picture postings? I'm a complete novice when it comes to navigating this site.

Look at the top of this page and the 1st item in the top row is HOME - click on it. It'll show you all the different areas that you can access.
