Default Looking for a pattern for hunters star/ snail trail

I love Deb Tucker’s quilt....but I am retired, and would rather spend money on fabric than rulers. I do have her hunters star ruler....is anyone aware of a similar pattern that has traditional piecing? I don’t mind paying for the pattern, but those rulers are pricey!

There's so many free patterns out there for both Hunter's Star and Snail Trail!

Have you looked into either Missouri star quilt co./Jenny doan, or quilt in a day/eleanor burns, for patterns........

When my son was about 12 yrs. old, now 47, he asked me to make him the Hunters Star quilt. He has always been hunter. I made one without all the rulers that is around today. Had the pattern in a book so I traced the templates and made it with out any problem. Very easy to do.

I went into my EQ7 program and made a paper pieced version of the snail trails cause I wanted them to be perfect or near perfect. They weren't going with the hunter star but a Kool Kat pattern.

Thank you all for your links... I guess I am missing something in the quilt that I linked....I know how to make each of the blocks, but my eye isn’t’t seeing how the 2 blocks are mixed in this quilt. I will get out some graph paper and see if I can figure it out. Maybe I should purchase Deb’s pattern and see if I can just convert the blocks to traditional piecing....
    Thanks again for your responses!
