I found your Sunbonnet Sue on http://www.quilterscache.com
Click on the search bar and a drop down menu will appear - click on "Quilt Blocks Galore - Free Quilt Block Patterns", then scroll down to the middle of the page to the alphabetical list. Click on S-Z and scroll down until you get to Sunbonnet Sue, click on it and there she is! It gives you the pattern, measurements and everything you need to make an 8" block. Page 2 shows a quilt already constructed (just a suggestion, of course).
The little farmer boy (he has LOADS of names) was harder to find, but he is at http://www.grandmasattic.com
Click on Block of the Month, and it will be one of the quilts on the first page. Click on the image a couple of times and it will enlarge and you can see it is the same one you are looking for, but it is $16.95 a month, which seems pretty expensive to me, and I didn't investigate the site thoroughly enough to find out if you can buy only one block.
During my search for you, I found lots and lots of free patterns for adorable little boys wearing overalls, most of them seemingly pretty easy and not too detailed. Unless you really HAVE TO have the one you posted about, maybe you could choose a different one that's more readily available.
Good luck!

Maybe it would help your friend if you found a little farmer boy from one of the other pattern sites that was close to the one you're looking for. That way perhaps she wouldn't have to change too much. If you found a free pattern that you can print out, it would be even easier.
