Looking for a quilt pattern with no matching squares, points etc.
I know I saw one somewhere but can't find it now. I love this board and know if anyone can help, it will be from one of you. Thanks for any help I can get.

Any pattern that is a square will need the squares to line up with each other. You just need a pattern where points within the squares don't have to line up with each other when the squares are side by side. That can be avoided by using sashing strips, but then you lose any secondary patterns which would have been formed.

Jelly roll quilt has no matching points and is easy to put together.
Coin quilts have no matching points, so that might be good for you to look at, too.

Eleanor Burns' Quick Trip quilts don't require matching seams. They're my go to pattern when I need a quick quilt. I especially like the Quick Quarter pattern. It uses fat quarters and the size is determined by how many fat quarters you use. Great for stash busting your fat quarters.

There is a kit called Flannel Brick Road (Pattern in one of their magazines), shown in an email the last few weeks from Fons & Porter. It consists of rectangles sewn together in strips, short end to end, then next strip is sewn with seams in middle of prior blocks. There is also the "Race" quilt every talks about that you sew long strips together until you get the size you want. Sorry, can't remember correct name of it, but someone here knows and will direct you.

A Bargello style quilt may also not require matching corners and points. The one I'm doing has each strip set offset 1/2 step from the ones on either side.
It does require care in measuring, stitching a precise seam and keeping track of which strip is next (design wall essential). But is actually a fairly easy technique.

Here is a barely matching of any blocks. If you mess up it doesn't matter. http://static.fatquartershop.com/med...ghthFrenzy.pdf
