A while back I wanted a picture of a schnauzer to put in a quilt. I ended up buying a panel with squares of all kinds of dogs. I figured I could use the rest in a child sized quilt. I still have a square with a Boston terrier on it, 6.5 inches. I'll try to attach a photo. If you want it, just pm me your address and I'll mail it to you. I'll still have enough squares to make my child sized quilt so don't really have to have that square.

My new favorite is solar dye. It actually dyes the fabric so it stays soft and does not fade. It is not full-color, but I love the look. Check this out: Jacquard SolarFast Starter Kit . Here are a couple I have done. The one with the baby was on a tye-dye quilt, so I used more than one color. There is a learning curve, but I have been very happy with it and the recipients love the labels. (So far, that is all I have used it for, but I can see it for so much more.)
