    Have you asked your giftees if the quilts are warm enough after they've had a chance to use them? They may have been surprised. Also, since you live in Hillsboro, you might consider taking a little trip to Fabric Depot in Portland, right now they have queen sized wool batting on sale for about 27.00 (prepackaged). I was looking on their site last night.
