Does anyone have a site or instructions for a waving flag pattern? My DH grandmother (87 years old) wants one for a wall hanging. So I thought I would make her one for Christmas.

    Thanks in advance (TIA)

Were you looking for any specific method? One lady here made a great one using prairie points. There are bargello variations I've seen, and paper piecing, too. What did you have in mind?

    This looks easy -

Here's a bargello flag pattern on Ebay.

I also saw one at the LQS here, but I think it was more expensive than this one.

Thanks for the replies - - I believe that she would want a bargello type wall hanging. I had seen these before, but was just wondering if there was any others that I might have missed.

    Thanks again!!

Block Magic has a waving flag pattern. I tried to send a link to the book, but it wouldn't come up for me.

Type in Block Magic quilt book in search bar. Once you get to it on the front cover shows a picture of the flag.

PM me if you would like that pattern.

Lynne ~ I have a pdf bargello flag on my computer. If you PM me your email address I could send it to you. I tried to find where I had found it, but it was a long time ago and had not luck. So if you PM me I could email it to you. :D

Lynne, I found a really neat "Flat Tumbler Quilt" on yahoo's Accu Quilt Go group. You might google the above title and see if it comes up or join the accu quilt go group and get the free pattern. It is really neat and I bought the tumbler die cutter for my accu cutter - which I purchased new on ebay at great price -I have to admit - I hate to cut out - and convinced my DH that machine was made for people like me! If you can't find it, email me and I will try to help you out.
