    Where I live people are more likely to use a baby quilt for tummy time, naps out of bed, extra layer in stroller etc, rather than in crib/ bed, where people favour sleep bags that can't slip over the face. For that reason, and for symmetry, I think you did the right thing?

    I also always make my baby quilts throw size so they can use it a long time!
