That happens to me all the time with EVERYTHING! And half the time it will be staring at me. Last week I lost my Mario wallet and was freaking out because it had my ID, debit card, discount card, and cash in it. I looked everywhere for it and couldn't find it before I had to go to work. Went to my room to set my stuff down after coming back from work and I didn't even have both feet in the door when I noticed the stupid thing on the TV stand. lol.

Did you fold it inside of another fabric you wanted to pair it with? I've done that before. Hope you find it.

What kind of spray starch were you using? Disappearing?

I lost Jack, our GPS, last year. We searched high and low. Two months later, I decide to buy a new one. The next day, the old GPS, Jack, appears on the kitchen counter where we looked a dozen times....now we have Jack and Frank.

One summer I bought a bunch of socks for stocking stuffers. Put them away till Christmas. When I went to get them, they were gone. They just up & walked off. Every time I thought I remembered where I put them, they had walked off again. Found them 6 years later right where I did put them. I blamed it on a brain fart.

Nope, we don't have pets so I can't blame them. Darn fabric must have gone to the big fabric store in the sky.

Check the throat of your sewing machine. Thats where I have stored fabric I wanted to use for my next project. Or on your sewing chair. Do you have a cat? :)
Or, did you see a that green fabric at the fabric shop and decide against it because, you have plenty at home already? So, you go home wash all the fabric up, then 'think' that the green should have been there because you are still thinking that one in the fabric shop would be perfect? I have done this. I learned I had new nicknames that day, created by myself.
There was a gal on here whose husband moved the recliner and found her stash, still in the bags. Could it be under her chair?

speaking of Jinny Beyer kits! My friend and I purchased two kits planning to do them together. She has hers and now I can't find mine. We had to wait for border fabric and I started moving to NM. Who knows where my kit is? It's not really funny as she (we really) would like to make them.
