I feel your frustration. I couldn't find my camera this weekend at my niece's wedding. I know I packed it somewhere into that sardine can we drove 14 hours to get to the wedding. I know when I unpack everything I will say "oh yeah, I put it there so I could find it easily".
Good luck!

My memory is getting worse and worse!! I made a needle case for my daughter 3 weeks ago and put it in a safe place for when she comes to visit Mothers Day weekend. It's safe all right...I can't find hide nor hair of it...now I have to get busy and make another one. THEN..I'll find the first one

As others have previously said..pray to St. Anthony. I was sitting at my machine once pondering the lost object, prayed to St. Anthony, looked up at the storage area next to me.....low and behold, there the object was.

I agree - pray to St. Anthony. When I was in second grade and made my First Communion, this little prayer was in the front of our prayer book: "If by chance this book should stray, into other hands some day, dear St. Anthony, I pray, bring it back without delay." I am now 70 and have used it many times. Doesn't always work but it does lots of time and I can't believe I still remember that prayer.

I lost a diamond ring (the most expensive one) I bought for myself to celebrate the end of breast cancer treatment. Four months later I saw a sparkle in the medicine container which held my binding clips. Happy Day!!! I had scooped it up along with the clips while sitting on the sofa binding a quilt.
