Oh I cann't imagine what you must be going through. I cann't believe that UPS closed the case or that they lost a large box like the one carrying a quilt. I would still put some kind of pressure on them to locate the box. I hope you find it very soon.

I'm so sorry about the missing quilt. It's beautiful.

I would ask the person who shipped it to fax you the shipping documentation that it was shipped. If they cannot produce the documation that it was shipped, they are responsible for the quilt & I would have them pay you the value of the quilt. I know that it doesn't replace the quilt, but it's some compensation.

Ok, keep hounding UPS---I work with them daily as we ship to retail stores. DO NOT let them tell you that they cannot find it---make them prove where it was the last time they have record of it---have you tried going to UPS.com and tracking the number? That should also help. Someone out there has it---I also agree with BellaBoo---let UPS know that you are going to call the news stations and newspapers--they won't like the bad publicity at all. Do not talk to regualar employees, ask for supervisor and keep going as high as you have to. Keep us informed. If you want my help, pm me and I will see what I can do.

Call them everyday, it keeps your issue at the top of this list and they also will realize that it is very important to you.
Try to get to speak with a manager and also take the time to call there corporate offices.
The quilt is gorgeous and I hope that it finds its way back to you very soon

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I completly agree with everyone else. Keep calling UPS. Do not give up. Keep the person on the Phone until they get you the next person up the chain of command.
I hope your quilt comes back to you.

I agree. Keep at it until you get to someone who will not simply chaulk it off!

Threaten to go to the media about UPS's behavior. That gets their attention if you threaten/promise at high enough levels! Here's hoping!
