    No, they haven't.

I keep hoping, and I try to concentrate on my next project to keep my mind off it.

Most everyone I talk to thinks it will come back eventually.

Hi.....Please do not give up hope.... I ordered some fabric from the US at the beginning of December...it was sent priority to me in the UK, tracked.... but simply didn't arrive... in February Icontacted the shop who traced it and were told that it was in transit....it eventually turned up in March......I really hope that your quilt is just taking the scenic route to you and that it will arrive soon....

Janet, I have been thinking so much about you and your missing quilt. Have you had any news. Has UPS been any help? What is your next step?

UPS does insure everything but the porblem is the shipper has to file the claim and is the one who actually gets the payment for the insurance. Years ago I sold glassware on ebay and some arrived broken. I had to file the claim and turn in the cost of each piece. They paid me and I had to pay the received. she still had the dishes but got paid for the broken ones. They even sent the adjuster to her house but I am the one who had to handle the transaction.

    Hope you find your quilt.

Oh my... I have just read all your posts and am now totally caught up in the saga.

Please keep us up to date on the missing quilt and I will keep my fingers crossed that it is returned home safe and sound.

    Hugs

The quilt still hasn't been located. As far as UPS is concerned, there is nothing else they can do. All I can do is hope it shows up someday.

I have made my peace with the situation. Meanwhile, I consider myself a lucky quilter. The quilt could have disappeared on the way to its first quilt show. Instead, I had the opportunity to see it with ribbons at Vermont Quilt Festival and the Houston Quilt Festival. It went to several other shows where it won ribbons. Not many quilters get that opportunity.

The quilt disappeared in the UPS system in Colorado, on its way home from being photographed by Quilters Newsletter. It makes me proud to think that my quilt will be on the cover of the June /July issue.

Thanks for all your prayers and good wishes. The support of people who have never met me or seen my quilt means a lot to me, and made a negative event, positive.

    Janet
