Did you say someone from post office picked it up? That person needs to checked out. Did you say it was never scanned in the system?

Find out who a supervisor is, and send them a letter by USPS "Proof of Delivery". You will get the signature of the person who signed for your letter faxed or emailed to you. Sometimes this will get recipient to give more attention to the letter you send.

You need to have them search the last location it was scanned. I have had a package slip off the the tracks and fell behind some of the big carts. The package was found three weeks after so don't let them give up.

I am so sorry for you. Your quilt is so lovely. I had the same thing happen to me. In January I sent a birthday present quilt to my brother who lives in a home for men in Momence, Illinois. I sent it USPS Priority mail from the Main Post Office. I think I made the mistake of putting a little Happy Birthday sticker near the address label. It was sent with delivery confirmation to Honolulu, Hawaii!!!!!no trace of its delivery there.....I firmly believe it was stolen at the main post office and the empty box was sent. That belief I cannot prove. The package was not insured, big mistake. Also I know now that a package can be sent and have a signature confirmation which I will do in the future. Mine was not as skilled a quilt but I am still mad and can do nothing else about finding it.

Have you tried escalating your issue with UPS to talk to a supervisor or manager? Keep calling back until you have talked to everyone they will connect you with.

I am not sure what else they can do. I did have a package go missing once and they told me it had been delivered but they couldn't say where. I kept calling and being a nuisance and low and behold the package arrived within a few days. They never could tell me where it had been or how they "got it back."

I hope this works out for you.
Keep bugging UPS!!!! Don't give up and make their life miserable! Ask for manager, if no help, ask for supervisor, and keep going up till you reach the top. It is only the squeeky wheel that gets any satisfaction!!! Usually the higher you go, the more interest is taken!!
