Don't give up yet! I sent my daughter's wedding dress to her at an APO while she was stationed overseas via USPS -- it took about 10 WEEKS to get to her, when mail normally took about 10 days. I dont' know where the dress was or if someone decided that it had a lot of sentimental value, but it did eventually turn up in the original condition. Meanwhile, will keep you in my prayers!

How terrible, but perhaps it will show up, as it was probably misplaced. It's a shame that happened, especially for the reason you make the quilt in the first place. I'm not Catholic, but isnt' there a St. that you can pray to for lost things? If not, there should be, or maybe just pray for the lost to be found. Hope you get it back soon.

I made a crocheted afgan for my niece and my son mailed it, but did not put insurance on it. Sure enough it was lost in the mail. Never again will I send something that doesn't have insurance. Guess this is how we learn:::
