    Can you tell me anything about this machine? Many years ago, before i got really into quilting, my DH found this on the side of the road! We forgot about it (for about 10 yrs.)until he was cleaning out the loft in our garage. He brought it in, cleaned it up and the only thing wrong is he needs to replace the power cord. The wheel turns so smooth! Can you tell from the pics what the value of it is. The date says 1938.

    Sweet...have you checked the serial number on the Singer site. It will give you an idea of year/quantity manufactured etc.

    Thanks. I CAN"T believe we forgot all about this little beauty! After all these years, it still works! Although a little heavy with the wood base, it has attatchments and the original manual. And to think i almost bought a machine like it on Ebay last year!
