Thangles are okay, but I like Triangles on a Roll better. YOu can google them or find them at http://www.trianglesonaroll.com/quartersquare.aspx

When I first started using Thangles, I didn't like them, but loved doing the BOM. The more I used them, the better I liked them. So, I'm in the *I like Thangles* camp!

I've used Thangles and Triangles on a Roll.

I'm a fan of the Roll version. :)

    Love, love, love Thangles.
I'm doing the Buck a Block #7 and I'm hooked.
My blocks have never looked so good.

LOVE Thangles. I run my thumbnail down the folded thangle, then tear. I tear the triangle off first, then the seam allowance. Hope this helps.

Our monthly package comes with 2 1/2" strips so can't take advantage of some of your suggestions right now but will definitely try in the future. I use a 2.5 stitch and have tried creasing both directions before ripping still with no success. Gotta' be me, gotta' be me, gotta' be me :-(
Try using a 2.0 or 1.5 stitch length, the paper tears off much better.
I like "Triangles on a Roll", been using them for years and they come out accurately.

I belong to a group that does a variety of craft and seven of our members signed up for a Thangles BOM with a LQS, you had to produce the finished block at the shop to get the next block. Five of the seven were at our gathering last night and all said they were "over" thangles and would probably never do it again once they have finished the BOM.
