Why not?? Life is too short not to enjoy and keep a full schedule.

You should take it if you think you might need help with the pattern.

I hear ''OVERWHELMED'' in your post. Your toddler needs a Mom that's not so overloaded more than you need to learn another quilting technique. I've been where you are and we don't get do-over days with our children. God Bless. A Mom of 6.

Give your toddler some special time with a trusted relative or friend. Take the class and use it to unwind and rejuvenate yourself. Time for yourself is soooooo important and you will be a better mom for it. Do NOT feel guilty about renewal therapy! And you will know how to make the quilt and have had a great time with new friends.
    Happy Quilting!

I completed 2 King Size LoveKnots for 2010. Eleanor Burns's book is so good and they are easy to piece.

Even though I don't always need to take a class I will for the companionship, to see what others come up with and always learn something new..
    DO IT!!

It might be that the only way you will make time for it is to take a class. I found that was true when I was in your situation. As long as I had a commitment I wouldn't back out, but without that, there was always something that took precedence when the time came for me to have a little "me" time.
