We are losing another one here, too. I used to be able to drive 10mins to get to my closest shop. But she started selling Janomes a few years ago and didn't get as much new fabric. Then the machines went away and still no new fabric. I just knew the end was coming and she will be closing in March after 15 years of business. Truthfully I haven't bought much there lately since I already have it all. Or at least the ones I liked. So now I will have to drive at least 25 mins. to the next nearest shop.

Oh my goodness, what a loss!

My LQS is actually growing. They are in the process of building a new building with the showroom at least twice the size. Can't wait for it to open.

I hear a lot of quilters opening their own shops. Hopefully someone else will come in to replace yours.

Just wish we had a LQS in our area. Only Hobby Lobby and Hancocks! :(
