I have a challenge for both of you! It will only take a day from start to finish. You can work together, but on 2 different projects. You both have to agree. and you will need 3 yards of fabric you love and 3/4 of yard of matching fabric.. I have bought 2 patterns for you. (yours to keep no copy right laws will be broken) you must pick your fabric out 1st before you see the project and you must tell me on what day you both will be done. I am working Thursday and Friday ARE you ready for this?
    just say yes..

What do you think? We don't know if lots of people got this message. Doesn't matter. Sounds like fun!
Both of you will have a great time and will have exciting, colorful quilts as an extra. I've attended dozens of Mystery Quilt/Classes/Retreats/get-to-gethers/Bee Play Dates and have always had a great time. In fact, I've taught six or seven mysteries and still had a great time! I discovered early that if I wasn't sure what fabric I needed. I used Christmas or Patriotic or Summer or Autumn fabrics and was never disappointed. I just signed up for a Mystery Class taught by a quilting student of mine who might very well surpass her instructor. The class is Friday, Oct. 28 at our guild's Late Nighter.

I wanted to choose from my stash, I found a dark blue with a gold filigree pattern. The gold filigree happened to match a gold fabric in my stash and the filigree was also on an off white that I'm using for background-talk about luck! Also, we received "do ahead" cutting and sewing instructions for this 65" x 80" quilt, so I'm sure we'll finish it in one session.

Tell you what, when mine is finished, I'll show you mine....if, when yours is finished, you'll show me yours! Belles

I am jealous, it does sound like so much fun!!! I'd love to see a photo of your and your friends fabric choices, too.
Too bad you can't lead the rest of us on the same mystery challenge due to the copywrite thing. :(
