You DID get a good deal!!! Lucky you!!! Gingham can be used for a variety of things---I just used gingham as a ruffle on a pillowcase dress---just can't beat it--always looks summery!

Wow! I think you got a great deal! Some really petty fabrics! I like the badana fabric too. I bought a lot of several different colored bandanas from an auction, but I have yet to decide what to do with them...I just knew they'd make a cute quilt...someday! :)

You truly are lucky, I have quite a few of the fabrics that I see in the pics. When I find deals like that I always buy them and then give the fabric I don't want to keep to a local church or there is a lady locally that will take any fabric to make clothes or blankets for charity and missions

Good idea. I looked at the tutorial but haven't figured out how to print it. Any suggestions?

Yes, she said that she had a couple of projects that she started and never found time to get back to and is more involved in grandchildren etc. to find the time to quilt. She also told me that selling her fabric was the hardest thing that she ever did and was glad that it was going where it would be used. She said that in going back through the fabric she pulled out some pink as her oldest granddaughter was expecting and she was hoping for a girl to make a quilt for.

That's what I thought. My mom's church group makes lap robes for the elderly members, especially those in nursing homes. The amusing thing is that the ladies making the lap robes range in age from 72 - early 90's! So I felt that anything I couldn't or wouldn't use could go to them for lap robes.
