I think we might want to purge (while he's in the mood) and try to find software that will convert some of the jpgs, etc into embroidery designs or let us create our own designs.

I have many projects I have made over the years for printing and think they would be cool to use on some clothing/etc.

    What do you have?

Do you love it/ like it / hate it / tolerate it?

Would you mind sharing the cost of it to give some idea of what we might be investing?

    Shows what we got yesterday

We jumped into the deep end and need some guidance pretty please.

There are programs that are just for your machine and then there are generic ones that are just as good. Get online and do a search. I have 2--one is for my Pfaff (hate it, very large/long learning curve, nothing that is click and create with this) the other is the Brother PE-Design. Much better, easier to use, converts pics to stitches with a couple clicks--after you learn how..... I'm not into digitizing like others, but am able to do what I want with this one. I was going to post some sites, but mine all seem to be for designs already digitized. I really like the information given on
annthegran.com and you can do a search and come up with lots. Good luck with your new toy!!

I almost forgot buzztools.com this is a library and converting software that helps me find things and change back and forth between Pfaff and Brother designs.

Ours does have a USB port for direct hookup to your computer along with USB for flash drives.

I did download some free designs and they worked ok on the shirt I tried out.

I also purchased some designs and haven't tried them yet...need to get more "plain" shirts I guess, lol.

I purchased the embird software. I haven't bought the digitizing software yet, but that is my next purchase.

I just bought a Brother-780 today. I have a smaller Brother and have been converting files for months with Embird. I really like how easy it is to move files around and get what I want where I want it to go.

I have a Magic Box.My old brain just can't figure it out.I think i have to learn to make a file to put the designs i want to download into that file.I can only use memory cards.
Maybe I'm just to chicken to try anything.
