I have a Janome Gem that uses snap on feet and I recently was given a new foot for it. It was the Zig Zag foot with Adapter. The adapter fits my FW and now I can use all the straight stitch snap on feet I have for the Janome on the FW. I doubt I will but it's good to know I can. :-D

what a great thing to know. sometimes I have to change machines just for the type of stitch that can be done on another.

It's always good to have spare machine feet, my husband used to work for this machine feet company; http://www.wdsltd.co.uk/products/Mac...evelling-Feet/ He used to bring some home for my sewing machines (though he would have to adjust them) I think they make customised machine feet now to fit any type of sewing machine.
