    Try loosening your to tensions
and using a larger needle. You might also be traveling too fast

We are have the foot pedal cord wrapped around the machine stand and I have the pedal it self tied the the hand of the machine stand and it works out great do I can control the pedal and no cords in way and no unplugging. We found during our journey we are using a 18 size used stronger thread. We found pressing the pedal to have the machine go fast but move the machine very slow and it is working out very well. We are one are 3rd quilt I am pleased we figured it out. Back to work.

Yay! Sounds like you are doing it all exactly right now. The stitches in the picture look fine. Your beautiful cat is sooo typical, claiming the quilt like that! Aren't they all just so Entitled, lol! I've decided, if there really is reincarnation, I want to return as someone's house cat (or a trust fund baby!).
