It mentions some missing parts -I am asking $375 obo. It is in good shape, and it still can work. Just needs the "boat shuttle" and bobbin- Not sure what a boat shuttle is but missing bobbin parts can be an issues and for some machine harder to find parts and $. Maybe check with Billy from the vintage board.

Turns out the serial number places this as a 1894 allocation, build-date 1895-1897. I haven't found any boat shuttles on ebay, and without knowing more than I do about these machines, would be buying a pig-in-a-poke I obtained one and then had to find out if it fits.
Also found no manuals for this machine.

I have my mother's old machine built much later than those, but I think it has a weird bobbin shuttle. The bobbins are long and skinny with a small round disc on each end. The shuttle is curved a little on one end and sharp pointed, but looks more like a bullet. This could be what they are calling a boat shuttle. I will try and get a pic. taken of it and post it this next week some time. Maybe that will help you find what you are looking for.
