Anyone attending the Quilt Expo September 8-10? I'm really looking forward to it - have quite a shopping list started. Am also looking forward to getting info on LAs. My GD has her first quilt entered in the kids quilt contest so it will be on display during the expo. I had asked this group about butterfly buttons or not - Buttons won. I'm a proud grandma!

Yes, I am going to the Madison quilt show. I love it. I have gone since the first one.

Me too! Going on Thursday and maybe Friday too, depends on my stamina the first day. Will look for your granddaugther's quilt. How wonderful!

I am taking 2 classes on Friday and 1 class Saturday morning. So if anyone wants to meet for lunch either day or after class on Friday (4:00 p.m.) I would love to meet up!

I would love to go, but plans are uncertain now. It's quite a drive from here.

If you go, be sure to see the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative traveling exhibit that will be there! I just got an email from AAQI about it -- looks fabuous!
