Cathy. I love your wreath quilt!! Now did you buy the pattern or did you do it on your own? How did you know where to put the white pieces so that they came out right in the middle? I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to make the template. Thanks for any help you can give me. Joyce

Kim, that's really nice. I love the colors.

I had hoped to post a shot of my finished wreath ... got the borders on, and quilted the pinwheels and the white background. Had decided on my design for FMQ on the border, went to start working, and my sewing machine died on me. It's now at the dealer ... might be 2 weeks! How can I survive??!!! Tomorrow, I will get out my old machine and see what I can do with it ....

I guess the computer decided I'd been using it too much! It's a Janome Horizon that I got this past summer -- my big splurge for the year ... or decade!. The screen goes to "E4" shortly after powering on. Dealer says he has to replace a board. I've seen some other posts regarding similar failures. I don't think it overheated, although I had been doing some heavy monogramming right before it died.

On my wreath, I quilted about 1/4 inside the edges of each of the wheels. Then I did a close stipple with swirls in the white background.

So, I got my old machine out and finished this up. Here are some pictures. I put a snowflake pattern in each corner, but they don't really show up very well, except on the back!
