I am looking to buy a magnifier to put on my sewing machine. Can anyone suggest one that works well on a Bernina machine?

Have you checked with your Bernina dealer?
They do have their own magnifiers ....

I have the Bernina magnifier set. It has 3 different ones for greater magnification. They fasten to the little hook that sticks out in front with the button to cover it (mine always comes off). I don't always use it but I like it when I do. You can also lift it off and use it for a hand magnifier. I see them on ebay cheaper than the dealer.

I waited until my shop had a 25% off accessories and bought the set. It ended up about $60 a couple of years ago. It will probably be less in the US? It comes with 3 different lenses and the mount had to be put on by the Bernina tech. This is what the D5 lens looks like...

Can you attach the magnifier yourself? One person said the Bernina tech has to do it

Thanks Skyangel. I am doing some very detailed sewing and having trouble seeing it clearly. I think a magnifier wouldhelp. My eyes aren't near as good as they once were and I want to keep on sewing. I will look on Ebay. I didn't know if it had to be the Bernina or if a generic one could be mounted easily and maybe a little cheaper.
