Default major Hobby Lobby fabric score

I buy fabric regularly at Hobby Lobby and today one of my favorite employees told me they're discontinuing 300 sku #s and she doesn't know if they're replacing them with new fabrics or just downsizing the fabric section.

I got several batiks for $5 a yard and bunch from their other sections for $3 a yard. They're not all in the clearance bin---I wandered around and looked at the whole section.

    Happy shopping!

I'll go tomorrow. There is one about five miles from me and I always pop in several times a month.

I sure hope they are not shrinking the size of the fabric option! I wonder if this is related to the anticipated rise in cost of fabric in January. I'll let you know if my Hobby Lobby has a similar sale in place after I wander over there tomorrow. Thank you for the heads up!

I heard today that Hobby Lobby is downsizing the fabric department. In a town like ours, it is the only place for fabric.

I posted this in another thread. I overheard the owner of one of the lqs here tell one of the employees there will be no more sale prices on fabric starting in Jan. I am buying a lot of fabric when I see a good sale just in case. LOL

I am not going into my Hobby Lobby store, Don't need the temptation. I am trying to use my stash.
