    The other day I was at one of my local quilt shops and met the maker of this quilt. he was with his wife who is also a quilter.

    Thanks so much for sharing that link - all I can say is WOW!!!!!! I have saved the link to read up on later...
    Meanwhile, it's funny - perhaps the maker and I are related what back when - we have the same last name - Locke..... LOL

    IT is truly wonderful! I saw it at the IQS in Rosemont,IL in2008. They had it hung high suspended from the ceiling. I think the bottom of it was 9-10 ft from the ground. The man who made it was on hand to answer questions.
    It made a huge impression on the crowds.

    I have seen this quilt 3 times. It is so unique as is the quilter and his wife. The back and the machine quilter is a story in its self. Do not pass up a chance to see this. We asked if he had insurance, he said yes, but could not tell us how much.

    :shock: :shock: That is one incredible quilt! I've never seen anything like it! I'll have to spend some time reading up on that one.
