Making a baby quilt

I've always loved Beatrix Potter since I'm a little girl. Found these fabrics and they are absolutely gorgeous! Will be perfect for a baby quilt. I wonder what kind of quilt pattern can go with these fabrics?

This website also includes a free quilt pattern for the fabrics. However it's too big for a baby quilt and I'm not good at reducing it to a baby quilt size. Any advice?
