    coming from a farming area you also need Chickens with eggs may be half cracked so as to see baby chicks

    How about a flap with a picture underneath it--maybe Grandma? Print on computer--iron onto fabric--sew in.

    OMGosh! How would I do that? I love it!! I'll have to think about it, just bind an opening in the middle!!!

    That's what I was thinking ... and then have a flap that lifts up on one or both sides. Or do a double opening, like french doors? It could be held closed via velcro, snaps, magnets, buttons, etc.

    Another ideas I had today when reading another thread, include a strip of prairie points to fiddle with. Or other 3D things, such as flying geese, pinwheels, or flowers (maybe not so boy-ish?)

    some rick rack, some chenille, some silky, velvet, corduroy, flannel, lots of texture and sparkle.

    I'm now picturing this growing to the extent that Little six foot Johnny is taking it off to University to cover his oversized bed! :)
