    Couldn't fit all the pics in one post! The underneath ones show where I screwed in pieces of wood that hold the big board snugly against the ironing board.

    I didn't make a big board like in the pictures - I just covered a piece of 2' x 4' plywood I had been using to put over my cabinet for cutting out clothes and lay it on my ironing board or my cutting table and it works fine. Didn't buying any batting - used scraps and scrap material for covering.
