All I can say is "Oh my gosh" you must be crazy. I would so mess up those seam allowances! Good luck and keep us posted, it sounds like it will be a beautiful quilt.

You can purchase Fairy Frost in Stover MO at the NuStyle quilt shop,, she did carry several colors www.NuStyle.com

Lovely, but I am not in the least tempted.........those small pieces would drive me crazy....in this for relaxation, not frustration.......but to each his/her own......

Looking and reading about this quilt makes me wonder something........it appears to be similar to a miniature process, so wouldn't those seams be better off at 1/8" rather than the traditional 1/4"? That would seem to eliminate some of that bulk. Lots of luck to those doing this one....not my cup of tea......

Without looking at the pattern, I wonder if there's any way to do it using paper piecing? I'm working on a Dear Jane quilt right now, some of the 5" squares have 40+ pieces and my head would be exploding without paper piecing - although actually I use the freezer paper piecing method. Just a thought .....

Thanks I just found their new website and its on its way. I so excited. I think batiks would be beautiful in this quilt. I think I'm going to do it reproductions. I currently working on a Dear Jane and I like that kind of look.
