I finally made it to Kansas from Germany and I'm wanting to get out and meet people. Of course similar interests always help, so I'm hoping to find a quilt guild in the area to join. Please let me know.
    THANKS!!!!!! :-D

I pastored the UM church in Riley, there. Then I lived in Ogden. I know of quilt shops, etc. in Lawrence. I do know almost every UM church has a quilt group and they would love for you to join.

Welcome from TN. I grew up in Manhattan, KS. Graduated from K-State (Go Wildcats) and worked at Ft. Riley for 16 years before I PCS'd to Germany. Small world huh? :-D

I am from Kansas (Wellington & Mulvane) we moved to WA when Boeing had their big transfer back in 1962. I always knew when we crossed back into Kansas because people were friendly and talked where ever we stopped. My aunt returns to the family home 6 months out of every year. Hope you have a great time while you are there. My folks attended KU - so for us it is, "Go Jayhawks!" :-)

Sounds like you need to build your own guild. 'If you build it they will come..'
