Recently one of my grandson came into my sewing area. He was eating a pain tortilla. He asked if I could warm it up.
Sure no problem. I ironed it for him. It was nice and warm. He loved it and I continued to do my sewing.

Oh, yes. The days of the party line. We were on a 4 party line, my parents switched to a 2 party line when they were told that 4 party lines were no longer available. My boyfriend was on an 8 party line with a nosy woman. My parents would still be on the 2 party line, but the other party added her own second phone which didn't work with party lines, and she kept answering calls for my parents, so they finally switched to a private line.
I used to iron my hair, too. But it never stayed straight. The humidity curled it right back up again.

Quite simple--------------when I made a comment about the old cast iron irons heating on a coal stove, I also thought about 4 digit phone numbers. One of my major faults-----------I'm very easily sidetracked.
