I just googled the 10-minute block and found a wonderful video. Guess I shall head to the sewing room now and give it a try. With the 20" finished cathedral fold block, one can put together a charity quilt top in no time at all. Thanks.

The 10 minute block quilt was made of a Moda Martinique layer cake. I had purchased additional fabric because I liked it so much. (Or I am addicted to buying fabric, whatever) I cut the flowers out and appliqued them onto the border. I think "they" call the technique Broide De Perce or something like that.
I felt kinda silly. It only took a day to make the quilt and four days to applique the flowers onto the border!
10 minute blocks but four day applique, sheesh.
