I just bought some for the first time a few days ago! I'm definitely no flannel expert but I thought it washed up nicely, with no pilling and not much shrinkage.
This is what I got: http://www.marcusfabrics.com/cgi-bin...1#.UjxgEn_t7ac

I have learned to go with the brands I know, though. My first order included an unfamiliar brand (to me - SPX Fabrics ) and I was really disappointed in it. Luckily, I only bought one yard and it was less than $5, so it wasn't too painful a lesson.

It IS pretty! I bought 10 yards of it a few weeks ago from fabric.com.
Same sale price. It washes up really well, too.

Thanks! I found (and ordered) some from Thousands of Bolts, for $3.79 a yard (Sale section)!!! There were only 4 yards left, so I bought it all and figure it'll make a nice sofa quilt back. Here's a picture of it. Pretty, huh? ![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)

YIKES!!! You really need to check out Thousandsofbolts.com! There are some fantastic deals there! Even the non-sale fabric is a bargain! The only downside is they have limited quantities and apparently when it's gone, it's gone. If you find something you really love, it's wise to go ahead and grab it . . . before someone else does. ![Thumb Up](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/thumbup.png)
