    Default Mardens in Maine - which is best for fabric??

    I will be coming back to Maine next month and need to get fabrics for two quilts I want to make. Which mardens has the best selections?? And sometime duting the summer I want to post a get together for Mainiacs

    Scarborough or Sanford in my opinion.

    I have had good luck in the one in the old Walmart building in Scarboughh. I haven't been to any others- might be just to dangerous. I bring patterns and fabric amounts I'll need for several projects when I visit Maine. I stock up because you can find some nice fabrics at good prices. Good luck.

    I've only been to the one in Waterville, but they have a BIG selection!

    I will be picking up DH in either Augusta or Portland when he flies in to Boston the end of April so i will go to Scarboro or Waterville on the way --

    There are 3 quilts I want to make tops for this summer -- I will do the hand quilting in fall/winter when we watch sports on TV.
