Mari Michell templates
#21
I have used M M's templates for several quilts. Cutting out takes a little longer but after a bit you develop a system. THEN the blocks go together like magic. Everything fits perfectly! If you like precision you will love her templates.

I went to her website (Marti, not Mari). She also offers a book that has the templates patterns and other ideas in it for $10 for each set. I thought that it would be cheaper to buy the book and make my own templates out of template material, No?
I don't use many templates since I have the QuiltCut2 cutting system which teaches you how to cut all kinds of diamonds, triangles, etc etc etc without a template.

Yes I have several sets of them and I use them all the time. I especially like the hexie ones for making grandmother flower garden. They have the points off of them so everything fits perfect. Peggy in Missouri

To find the 45 degree angle on a triangle, I think I would have to lay it on top of a appropriate sized square and cut off the rabbit ear or I'd probably lop off too much or too little. Sometimes I think I am becoming dyslexic -- mean to do one thing and then do just the opposite!
