Does anyone know of a web site where I can obtain a paper pieced pattern for Mariner's Compass block?

How big of a block are you looking for? There is a beautiful one here in the BOM that our member Tim drafted for us :D:D:D

    quiltsmart.com!!!
i used their interfacing (which is a foundation) to make mine- went together great, in no time. i love using their products- i've used the quiltsmart for mariners compass and lonestar quilts with great results. they have many others too- including wedding rings
i should add- i love using these, they work exactly like paper piecing but you do not have to remove anything -BONUS!!

I haven't used the Quiltsmart for the Mariner's Compass because I actually enjoy drafting my own stars.

However, the Lone Star interfacings - FABULOUS. Just brilliant.  I've made four using it. I still have a couple of mini packages somewhere waiting to be used.

So incredibly easy to use and worth every penny.
And NO BIAS edges on the diamonds because there are NO diamonds. ;-)

I would imagine the MC is just as easy.
