My latest edition of "Fabric Trends" announced that Mark Lipinski will be taking over as editor. Love him or hate him, it will be interesting to see the changes in the magazine.

I stopped getting Quilters Home when he left the magazine. I'll take a peek at Fabric Trends and may start getting that one. I enjoy his humor.

I saw Mark Lipinski at the Quilter's Expo in Reno, NV last month. Went to his lecture and trunk show with some friends. He was great. VERY FUNNY!!!!!!!

I agree, I "used" to love Quilters Home but I stopped reading it when he left. It's not the same magazine.

I am a Mark Pickle Group fan and he is great. If you look at his website and then his blog, he is going to be doing 4 magazines, and more. He stays busy. It's sad he islooking for a kidney donar. He is in Renal failure. I still have a subscription to Quilter's Home because I had already subscribed before he left. They are trying to be like him but the comments are just not as fun. I like his technique.

I don't get what's so fasinating, funny, interesting about him that a magazine with his picture, name on it is worth 6.95 a month?...... I've picked it up a couple different times in the store, thumbed thru it, and I don't get it.........so, I guess I don't care for him....

I guess its his humor I like, he doesnt seem to care as much as some about the "proper" ways to do do things...
Plus he is a big animal nuts, like me, always had his pugs in the mag.
