    Default marking pencil

    how do I remove the marks from dritz silver marking pencil on my embroidered tee. Water, heat rubbing ? Thank you

    Definitely no heat. Heat will probably set it more. I believe the silver lead is a wax base lead, therefore not easy to remove. I would suggest erasing with a soft rubber eraser. Test on another piece of the same kind of fabric first. If that doesn't work. I would try one of the stain washing sprays. Test first before you try on the t shirt.

    I have not had very good luck with that type of pencil. I would mark an old t-shirt and try dish washing soap on the mark to see if that helps get it out. If it does then try it on your good one. If not, throw everything at it you can think of on the old shirt until you find something that works. Sorry, wish I had a sure fire method.
