    Same here. I use the Fon's and Porter Mechanical pencil as well as chalk. Sometimes I use the air erasable pen too.

    Not usually. It depends on how I keep it when hand quilting.

    If I am using a quilt frame or a large standing hoop, the quilt doesn't get jostled very much in the quilting process, and the marks stay just fine.

    If I use a small hand held hoop, and I need to move it all around the quilt, then the white chalk pencil tends to disappear. The grey seems to last until the piece is laundered.
