In that case, I would contact Marshall Dry Goods directly on their regular phone number, not the 800 number. Even if you get charged a long distance phone call, I think in the long run it will be worth it for you. I have heard they are great to do business with when you speak to them directly. However, because the problem appears to have happened with shipping you may have no recourse due to it may be the fault of the shipping company, be it UPS, postal service or whatever. Dealing with postal service is usually a lost cause, UPS is not much better. They will blame the problem on inadequate packaging. It is still worth a shot to contact Marshall's directly at 870-793-2405

Was this even an eBay transaction? You wouldn't hear back from eBay if you were dealing directly with Marshall Dry Goods.

Well I have not had time to call them yet, Anyone know there hours? I work during the day until 5:30pm so can't call until after that.

I have still not heard back from ebay yet. Although Marshall's ebay store has blocked me from even buying from them now.

I am so confused in all this. :( and very hurt.

I called on February 14 and left yet another message. Do they not return phone calls to Canadians or what?

I sent them two emails. Then I called them on their regular phone # (don't think the 800# works for Canada). I explained what I wanted to know to the woman who answered the phone. She transfered me to a man. Repeated my questions to him, he put me on hold and never came back!
They have some fabric I would really like to get but after that I'm not sure I want to try buying from them. The shipping costs are extremely high according to the shopping cart.

I'd love to hear if any other Canadians have had successful dealings with them!

I use to have great sucess with ordering from there ebay store, shipping is cheaper on there than there actual website. No the 1-800 number does not work in Canada so I have been calling the other number.

I finally spoke with Scott Ford regarding my ebay, he has unlocked me from being blocked now.

He said they block people for leaving neutral or negative feedback, and I was causing to many problems by trying to contact him (I was calling him and sending him emails regarding my damaged packages.

Overall I am so glad that I am unblocked but also heartbroken at how rude I have been treated because I thought they should know about my damaged items. I have learned my lesson to never contact them and always leave positive feedback NO MATTER WHAT.

That is terrible!! If a seller is able to block you just because you left negative feedback, then feedback will mean nothing. I look at feedback when deciding to buy something, I want it to be the truth. Ebay should not allow that. Did he correct your problem (replace your damaged item)?
