Watch Hancocks for it when it's on sale. They also have large economy size bottles for refilling. I prefer the unscented. variety.

I love the scents too much to give it up - I have almost all of them and large refills of my favorites, Caribbean Beach and Cherry Blossom.

I recently got the Citrus one that I didn't like so much and the Tea Rose, which is heavenly!

It's not stiff enough for the starch method of preparing applique pieces, so I boil cornstarch for that. But for shrinking fabric to cut for quilts or for ironing my clothes and pillowcases, Best Press is really wonderful.

If you have a hancocks near you or are able to order on line. They run really good sales. Its the ONLY thing I use now and I love all the different scents. My favorite is cherry blossum, but is not in most stores. I also perfer the mist bottle to the spray bottle when I am doing small peices. I love the way it relaxes the fabric when wet then snaps it back crisp again. can you tell I swear buy the stuff and a little goes a long way!

I love Mary Ellen's and use it all the time. I love the way it takes out the wrinkles so fast and it really helps when ironing seams.

I love Mary Ellen's Best Press. I brought my first bottle home and removed the price tag so my husband wouldn't see it. After about a week or so he asked me where I had got it, and if it was readily available. He irons all his own cothes and absolutely loves it, too. He finally did ask about the price. I gave him the 50% off Joann price, and now he lets me know when "we" are running low so I can pick up more.
I use it on all my fabrics prior to cutting. I think it does a great job. And I love that it has no flakes when you do use it.

I got a bottle last week. Just tried it tonight. I think I am in love. It is head and shoulders above Magic Sizing, in my opinion. I have not been able to get a crisp job with the sizing.

I use a hot dry iron ... and haven't had problems as you have suggested.

You can make your own. 2 cups water, 1/4 c vodka and a few drops of essence. It works great!
