Mary Ellen's Best Press. What do you Think?

My DD gave me a gift basket with all the selections of the Best Spray. It lasts a long time so the cost isn't that much considering it takes less to get a nice crisp finish. It's worth buying one big spray bottle of it just for the bottle. It has a good even spray pattern.

I love Magic sizing....my mother used it on my dads shirts, so when I smell it I feel like I am a kid again......One of those strange things that I like the smell of.
I do use best press and like it, but I am on the fence yet as to whether I like it better.

I love Best Press, I think it stiffens the fabric just as much as the starch I use does..but it is very expensive. A great plus for Best Press though is that it doesn't attrach bugs like starch does...I prewash my fabric and don't always wash my quilt right after I finish, especially wall quilts and table runners and toppers...so I use Best Press for those, and then use starch if I know I am going to wash the quilt right away.

I just had to add my 2 cents worth LOL. I love best press for (1) it smells nice, (2) doesn't flake (3) gives fabric body without stiffness (3) it will take out a fold press that just won't come out with Magic Sizing or any other starch I have tried, (4)Pricey YES however, I water it about 50/50 and it works just as well.
The main reason I love it is #3-- it will press out folds in fabric that other starches don't. Sue
