You could make your own version of this:
Ingredients:
1 heaping tablespoon corn starch
1 pint cold water
1-2 drops essential oil (optional)
Preparation:
1. Combine the cornstarch and water in a bowl, and stir until the cornstarch is completely dissolved. (The mixture will be milky in color)
2. Add in a couple drops of essential oil for fragrance, if desired.
3. Then, transfer to a spray bottle, and use.

I cannot for the life of me find any of the starches or sizing everybody talks about. Ive tried Walmart, Superstore (grocery store) I did buy a bottle of the Best Press for 8.59. I guess I will have to find the recipe and make my own.

I'm not sure what they would have that is comparable in Canada but do they have the liquid starch in your grocery stores? If so you can dilute it down to the consistency you desire. I know there are quite a few posts on the "Starch" subject so try going to the search feature and see if you can find a better answer there. :-D

I couldn't find any liquid starches and God forbid anybody who works there can help you!!! I don't understand it, I work at Costco and I make it my business to help people who need it. Don't get me wrong, between Costco and Walmart they get my money, I just wish they were more helpful. LOL The kid I asked in Walmart didn't even know what starch was - he took me to the baking isle, lol God love him!!!

I would suggest to all of you who buy sizing, starch etc. to look at the ingredient label. Corn starch is usually the main ingredient, and it is also loved by little bugs. If you live in a humid area, you may not want to be using anything with corn starch in it. Unless of course, if you like your fabric eaten by little bugs.
