    Default Mary's Triangle block

    Good morning, quilt friends -

I am searching for a chart the gives different sizes for the Mary's Triangle block, AKA Shaded Four Patch block. If someone has something like this, please let me know.

    Thanks -

    Jane

You don't need a chart, always make the rectangle 1" longer than the unfinished square.

So you have a UF square that is 2" make the rectangle for Mary's Triangle 2" x 3". Unfinished square 2 1/2" the rectangle is 2 1/2 x 3 1/2. and so on and so forth

Thank you. That's what I was looking for was the math to figure out different sizes.

    Again, thanks -

Thanks for the link QuiltnNan. We had a business with the logo in that shape. I wanted to make a quilt using the design but didn't want to cut all those triangles. This chart makes it much easier.
