    I always starch my fabric first - that has helped immensely and you don't need as much stabilizer.

    I heavily starch mine too, board stiff sometimes, and use 2 layers of stabilizer.

    I make sure and prewash and dry the fabric atleast twice too, as it does like to shrink a bit the second time :wink:

    On some, I have put a layer of thin cotton batting behind the fabric.

    Dense designs really need a lot of additional stabilization :D:D:D
